At
Langaton Alpacas our stud team consists of a variety of
Huacaya and Suri males in varying colours to suit all
requirements. From our experienced, proven
males producing numerous show-winning progeny to our new
up-and-coming homebred young males, there is a male to match
your female.
Progeny from all our stud males are available to view by
appointment.
With our many years of livestock breeding experience, we
are happy to advise on male selection, and feel confident that
we can assist our Clients in producing prize-winning stock or
just beautiful coloured alpacas to grace your paddock.
On Farm
The females stay at Langaton until they are scanned
pregnant at around 50-60 days pregnant. We offer a
collection/return service.
Drive-by
For those living not too far away, we are happy for Clients
to bring their females to us to mate and then take them home
again. We offer a discounted stud fee for this.
Mobile
This can be an option where the female needs to stay with
the owner.
Scanning
All females mated on farm are scanned before return.
In addition to this, we can offer a scanning service to
monitor your females during the remainder of the pregnancy if
necessary.
